Director General of Police, (DGP), Dr S.P Vaid on Monday announced 160 promotions in telecommunication and ministerial executive cadre in Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Among the promoted officials are 24 Sub-Inspectors to the rank of Inspector, 29 Assistant Sub-Inspectors to the rank of Sub-Inspector and 107 Head Constables to Assistant-Sub Inspector.
Vaid congratulated the promoted personnel and has asked them to rededicate for public service.
