At least five passengers lost their lives and over 18 others got injured after a mini-bus fell into a gorge on its way from Katra to Reasi in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
"It is unfortunate that such an incident has taken place. A matador had fallen and till now five people are believed to be dead while 18 are injured. Out of the 18 injured, one has been referred to Jammu," said Kulveer Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police, Katra.
"The exact cause of the incident will be known after investigation," he added.
