The government of Jammu and Kashmir and the Centre have reportedly reviewed progress of the biotech park coming up near Kathua.
The discussions took place between Jammu and Kashmir's Minister for Science and Technology Sajad Gani Lone and Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Dr. Jitendra Singh here.
The project is in Gaati-Phase 3, and will be the first-ever of its kind in Kashmir and on completion is expected to be a game changer not only for the state but for the entire northern part of the country.
It is expected to usher in a new era of development and an important source of revenue and employment generation.
