A 15-year-old Pakistani prisoner escaped from a juvenile home in Jammu and Kashmir's Ranbir Singh Pora district last night.
The boy has been identified as Ashfaq Ali, son of Malik Hussain, a resident of Doonga Pehli in Pakistan-administered-Kashmir's Bhimber tehsil.
Police said, "A search operation has been launched for the juvenile. He was apprehended by the government forces in Nowshera when he crossed over the Line of Control in May 2017. As nothing incriminating was seized from him, he was later moved to a juvenile home in R S Pura".
"The juvenile escaped on Sunday after bending the iron grills of a window on the rear wall of the home", the police added.
Following that, the police have raided many places along the international border in RS Pura sectors.
The search operation is on.
