With a preview performance of the upcoming 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' at bay, wildly successful creator of the franchise J.K. Rowling has requested her fans to not let its "secret" out.

Before the movie's debut at the London Palace Theatre, the 50-year-old novelist took to You Tube to appeal to all the Potterheads to keep the plot a secret and let the audiences' enjoy "all the surprises" the story line brings along, reports E!Online.

Rowling added, "You've been amazing for years at keeping Harry Potter secrets so you didn't spoil the books for readers who came after you."

'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' is set 19 years after the last published 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2'.
