All arrangements are in place for the annual Jagannath Yatra which will start tomorrow at 7 am in the morning, according to temple authorities.
Mahindra Kumar, temple operator told ANI, "Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister of Gujrat will also be a part of the Yatra. History will be made as this will represent women empowerment."
People from different parts of the country will be united through this Yatra as various people are coming together to sing bhajans.
The Rath Yatra will go on for 18 kilometers and to avoid any unwanted event, CCTC surveillance has been employed.
Vikas Sahay, Joint Commissioner of Ahmedabad said, "We have been preparing for the Yatra for about one month now. All the arrangements have been made like every year. We will not leave anything to chance."
This Yatra draws millions of people from various parts of the world who revere the Lord Jagannath. The images of Jagannath temple are carried along the street with the devotees waiting for hours just to catch a glimpse.
