Anurag Basu, who has spent more than three years on 'Jagga Jasoos', feels that the film borrows a lot from the books he read as a child.
Talking about where he got the idea of the highly-anticipated flick, the 43-year-old shared, "I loved 'Feluda' and 'Adventures of Tin Tin'. They were my childhood love. This is all coming out from my personal childhood memories".
Ranbir Kapoor, lead actor and producer of the musical drama, says the director has maintained the sanctity of the movie.
"After seeing 'Jagga Jasoos' I feel dada has made the same film that he had narrated to me three-four years back," he said.
Disney and Pictureshuru Production's 'Jagga Jasoos' also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role and is set to release on July 14.
