Jaideep Sarkar appointed India's envoy to Bhutan

Jaideep Sarkar, presently Ambassador of India to Israel, has been appointed as the country's next Ambassador to Bhutan.

An official press release from the Ministry of External Affairs said Sarkar, an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of the 1987 batch, was expected to take up his assignment shortly.
