Jake Gyllenhaal, Alyssa Miller call it quits after six months of dating

Jake Gyllenhaal has split from his Sports Illustrated model girlfriend Alyssa Miller, after six months of dating each other, according to reports.

Sources have told Us Magazine that the couple fizzled out, which happened before the holidays, and the 33-year-old actor is single again.

Insiders added that things were really good between Gyllenhaal and the 24-year-old model till the time he had to leave for LA to shoot his upcoming film 'Nightcrawler', and the distance just really got to them.

Sources claimed that the 'Donnie Darko' star was very taken with Miller, but their work was the reason they drifted apart.

Insiders added that the couple was apart for the holidays, and things weren't good with them even before that, and that Miller is very much a long-term relationship girl, while Gyllenhaal isn't as much of that mindset.
