James Bond stuntman Richard Graydon passes away

Richard Graydon, a brave stuntman, who had performed in 10 'James Bond' films and the original 'Star Wars', has passed away. He was 92.

In over a decades-long career, Graydon's Bond run had begun with 1963's 'From Russia With Love', and had doubled for George Lazenby tobogganing down the Cresta Run in 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' in 1969, Deadline.com reported.

He had recalled the scene where he had to slide down on a piece of chain to a cable car dangliKamal Khanng over an 80-foot drop, and the only safety devices he was provided with were two hooks in the palm of my hand attached to my safety belt. The addition problem was that ice had formed on the cable.

Graydon had shared that the "nastiest moment of his career" was when he doubled for Roger Moore in 'Moonraker', where a cable car was suspended hundreds of feet above the ground, and disaster had nearly struck when Graydon slipped and was left hanging by one hand with no safety harness.
