Putting at rest all speculation and doubts, Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has agreed to extend his contract with the Premier League champions by four more years.
The 29-year-old, who was the top scorer for Leicester City last season, was widely linked with a potential move to Arsenal.
Confirming the news, Leicester City stated on their official website that they have agreed this new deal with representatives of Vardy and added that this announcement would put an end to recent speculation surrounding the England international's future, Sport24 reported .
This move means Vardy will stay at Leicester City until at least 2020.
He is currently on duty with England at Euro 2016 in France and scored in the 2-1 win over Wales in the group stage.
