Former Bihar chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday said that he has joined hands with Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar to keep the communal forces out of power.

"Do they think that they can suppress Lalu Yadav. It's not for Nitish Kumar, not for coalition, not to enjoy power, but to defeat communalism, Lalu Yadav is willing to make any sacrifice to stop them. I am not doing a favour on anyone, I want to stop communal forces. Communal elements can divide our nation.. Now that BJP is failing on every front, they are trying to communalise nation," Yadav said.

"If the fire of communalism engulfs nation then no one will be spared, whether it is Hindus or Muslims, everyone will burn... We formed the coalition to uproot communal forces from Bihar, that is why we have projected Nitish kumar as chief ministerial candidate.. Every RJD worker is committed towards this cause," he added.

The RJD supremo also lashed out at the BJP-led Shuvraj Singh Chouhan Government in Madhya Pradesh over the Vyapam scam.

"Such a big scam took place in Madhya Pradesh and CBI probe has been ordered now. So many people connected to this scam have been murdered. 47 people have been killed so that investigation does not reach the top," Lalu said.
