Jane Fonda was recently honoured by Hollywood stars as she accepted the American Film Institute's Life Achievement Award, it has been revealed.
The Academy Award winner asserted that she was so happy to add another woman's name to the list, the BBC reported.
Fonda's brother Peter Fonda said that he had never been prouder of the actress and he knew Dad was proud of her as well.
Michael Douglas, who presented the award to the 76-year-old actress, said that, Fonda was a true film royalty, not through birth, but through her talent.
