Jennifer Hudson is set to perform at the upcoming 87th Academy Awards.
Show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron revealed that they were creating several musical sequences for the Oscars and were happy to announce that their Oscar winning friend, 33, would be performing in one of them," Deadline.com reported.
Hudson had won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for 2006's 'Dreamgirls' and her self-titled debut album had bagged 2008 Grammy Award for Best R and B Album.
This year, the she was nominated for Best R and B Performance for the song 'It's Your World,' from her 2014 album, 'JHUD.
