Jennifer Love Hewitt is set return to CBS as a series regular with 'Criminal Minds' starting October 2014.
Executive producer and show runner Erica Messer said that they were delighted to welcome the 35-year-old beauty to the show's 10th season, who had earlier starred in the network's 'Ghost Whisperer', and had stirring storylines chalked out for her character and the entire BAU team, Deadline.com reported.
Hewitt will play an undercover agent named Katie Callahan in the series, which already stars Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore, Matthew Gray Gubler, AJ Cook and Kirsten Vangsness.
