The Madhya Pradesh (MP) Government on Saturday announced Rs. two lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs. 50,000 to those critically injured in the blast, which took place at a hotel in Jhabua district earlier this morning.
"Rs. two lakh will be given to the families of the deceased and Rs. 50,000 will be given to those who are critically injured," Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told the media here.
"Proper investigation will be done to find the cause of the accident. A magisterial inquiry will be conducted into the matter," he added.
Meanwhile, Jhabua Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) has confirmed that the blast, which killed around 30 people this morning, was a detonator blast.
