Former home secretary R.K. Singh on Wednesday lashed out at the Pakistan Government, saying there are 'jihad factories' actively being operated there which are spewing terrorists to launch attacks on India time and again.

His comment came after a Pakistani terrorist was caught alive today and another was shot dead in a gun battle in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir.

Singh maintained that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has no power to end terrorist activities in his country.

"Nawaz Sharif is not in the state to deliver on terrorism front. He has no control over his country and over the terrorism spread in his land," he said.

"He cannot deliver on any promises he makes, and I don't think that there is any scope remaining to talk on this issue now," he added.

Singh stressed that talks with Pakistan are futile as they do not fear repercussion from the Indian Government.

"Pakistan will not stop attacking India until we hit back and create fear in their hearts. After the Gurdaspur incident, this incident in Udhampur is solid proof of their involvement in terrorist activities," he said.

"They have jihad factories in Pakistan. The poor people are their targets as they can train and brainwash them easily. The ISI present there provide them with weapons and ammunitions and train them from their childhood itself," Singh added.
