Jim Carrey had a tongue injury while filming a weird hot dog scene for 'Dumb and Dumber To'.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 52-year-old comedic actor, who reprises his role as the dimwitted Lloyd Christmas in the sequel, had to film a scene where Lloyd comically shoves a mustard-slathered hot dog in his mouth.
During his appearance on the Ellen Show, Carrey revealed that he literally ate 36 hot dogs to do that scene, and actually bit entirely through his tongue during the take, but had kept going.
He added that he had also inhaled a chunk of hot dog into my lung and for the next three weeks on the movie, he just gagging and couldn't get it out.
The movie, which takes off twenty years after the last film, will hit the Indian theatres on November 21, 2014.
