Johnny Depp recently revealed that his daughter's hospitalisation with kidney failure was the darkest period of his life.
The 52-year-old actor revealed that his daughter Lily Rose, who he shares with his long-term ex-partner Vanessa Paradis, was admitted to the children's hospital for nine days in 2007, reports the Mirror.
The now 16-year-old was treated for kidney failure caused by E.coli poisoning, while Depp was filming at 'Pinewood Studios.'
Depp said that when his daughter was ill in Great Ormond Street it was the darkest period of his life, adding that he used to visit hospitals as Jack Sparrow often, but after this incident these visits became more important.
