The Make-up and Hair Stylists Guild awards recently honoured Johnny Depp with a special award.
The Golden Globe award winner was presented the award for his work in films like 'Edward Scissorhands', 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and 'Alice in Wonderland', News24.com reported.
The 50 year old actor received the award from his long time associate and makeup artist Joel Harlow, who is nominated for an Academy Award this year for makeup in 'The Lone Ranger'.
'The Pirates of the Caribbean' actor said, while accepting the award, that it is a great honor for him.
Depp also praised the work of makeup artists saying that they've helped him find the root of each character that he has portrayed till now.
