An Australian conservation group has accused Angelina Jolie of "disrespecting Queensland's heritage", amid fears that her new movie's set will damage a national park.
The 38-year-old actress and her team descended on Queensland last week to begin filming her World War II drama 'Unbroken' at some of Queensland's most picturesque locations.
But while Queensland Arts Minister Ian Walker branded her movie as "a major coup", environmental action group Conservation Volunteers were not impressed, the Courier Mail reported.
The film team is going to build a POW camp at the historic Fort Lytton National Park, which is located on the southern bank of the Brisbane River, at Lytton.
Wayne Cameron, chair of the group's Brisbane catchment network, said that this was just another example of the State Government treating their national parks with a fair amount of disrespect.
He added that the film set could create a mess that then they will have to go in and clear up.
