Judi Dench, Benedict Cumberbatch and Hugh Bonneville have signed to star in adaptation of a trilogy of Shakespeare history plays.
'The Hollow Crown: The Wars of the Roses', a three-part show, which would consist of Henry VI parts 1 and 2, would see Cumberbatch fill the role of Richard III, Dench in the role of Cecily, Duchess of York and the 'Downton Abbey' star as Duke of Gloucester, the BBC reported.
Ben Stephenson, controller of BBC Drama, called the cast "extraordinary" saying that the team would really elevate the level of British drama, while executive producer Pippa Harris added that they were thrilled to work with the country's most talented actors.
The filming is set to begin later in 2014.
