Auto rickshaw aggregator Jugnoo registered phenomenal growth for its B2B delivery vertical- Jugnoo Delivery. Catering to 4000 orders per day from 2000 delivery orders in November 2016, Jugnoo Delivery has managed to proliferate in Tier I, Tier II and Tier III markets.
Jugnoo Delivery successfully serviced everything between industry bigwigs to the local merchants and restaurants in some of the top cities of the country. With 600 daily active merchants and 1500 weekly active merchants, the local merchants and restaurants have instigated major growth in Jugnoo's delivery segment.
"The concept of utilising our existing fleet of auto-rickshaws as well as establishing one of the strongest marketplace two-wheeler fleet in the country for hyper local needs of our users has been a successful venture. In view of such growth, we are targeting 25,000 orders per day in the coming six months. Additionally, we are also piloting with a few e-commerce players to offer an on-demand delivery option to their users, apart from exploring opportunities in the B2C domain," said , Zorawer Singh, Head - Jugnoo Delivery.
Graduating from its 13 city log, Jugnoo Delivery is now present in 19 cities, namely Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Noida, Indore, Faridabad, Surat, Jaipur, Pune, Nagpur, Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bhopal, Udaipur, Nashik, Jodhpur, Lucknow and Hyderabad. Chandigarh, Delhi, Bangalore, Gurgaon and Noida have shown maximum growth potential.
Jugnoo Delivery had hit a peak of 5000 deliveries on Valentine's Day this year. The service was a saviour to many florists across the country as no other on-demand delivery service was serving florists. Jugnoo Delivery was operational 24X7 two days prior to Valentine's Day.
Jugnoo offers effective logistics support to SMEs and QSR bigwigs of the industry such as Pizza Hut, KFC, Burger King and Subway to name a few. However, the service is getting maximum business from local merchants and restaurants like Tiffin Daddy in Chandigarh, Oye24 in Indore, local biryani houses in Gurgaon and local tiffin services in cities like Surat, Nagpur, and Indore.
