Kabbadi WC called off amidst growing agitation in Punjab

Amid rising tension following the desecration of the holy Guru Granth Sahib at various locations in Punjab, the sixth edition of the Kabbadi World Cup scheduled to be held in the state has been called off.

Earlier on Monday, various Sikh and other groups blocked highways across the state, demanding action against those responsible for desecrating the Holy Book.

The agitators have threatened to continue their blockade till October 25 for three hours every day.
