After the 2014 hit Vellai Illa Pattadhari (VIP), the much-awaited sequel's release, which has Kajol on board, would be delayed by one month.
Journalist Sreedhar Pillai? tweeted the same, "Breaking- Producer @theVcreations confirms @dhanushkraja #VIP2 which was to release on July 28 has now been pushed to August!"
With Raghuvaran's high popularity in the first part, Kajol is all set to spread her luck in this upcoming sequel, playing the role of Vasundhara, opposite Tamil star Dhanush.
'VIP 2' is Kajol's second movie in Tamil cinema and marks her return to Kollywood after 20 years.
The movie has been directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and produced by Kabali producer, S Kalapuli Thanu.
