Harry Kane and Dele Alli struck two goals each as Tottenham emphatically outplayed Stoke City 4-0 in their Premier League clash at Britannia Stadium on Tuesday.
The visitors produced a scintillating performance throughout the match, with forward Kane putting his side ahead in the ninth minute by netting his 23rd goal of the season, the Guardian reported.
Midfielder Dele Alli then doubled his side lead in the 67th minute before Kane rolled in the third one just four minutes later.
It was in the 82nd minute when Alli smashed another goal to pile further misery on Stoke City and to give the Spurs their ninth away victory of the season.
With just four games left, second-placed Tottenham have reduced the gap with leader Leicester City to five points.
They will play their next match against West Brom on April 26.
