Bollywood's top actors Kangana Ranaut and Irrfan Khan may now act together in a film titled 'Ae Mohabbat', which is a biopic based on Begum Akhtar.
According to sources, the 48-year-old actor has been confirmed for the male lead, but Kangana has yet to sign on officially, reports the Dawn.
Producer Jalota said that they are trying to get the 28-year-old actress to play one of the stages of the renowned ghazal and thumri singer in the film.
The producer further added that it is not really a biopic but a feature film and they are planning it release it next year.
The flick is being directed by Ketan Mehta along with a soundtrack by A.R. Rehman.
