Kangana Ranaut, who has decided not to attend any award functions in the future, has insisted that she is not following in footsteps of Aamir Khan, who is also known for his lack of appearance on shows.
On being asked if she was planning to do a film with Khan, the 27-year-old said that though they would both like to work with each other, it is not her priority as an actor.
"I think our goals are to do things that excite us and along the way if we find that opportunity is great. But I don't think that is my immediate goal and yes Mr. Aamir Khan is one of my favorite actor's and it's not that I am trying to be like someone. The thing I said about awards is my personal choice and it's not that I am following someone's footsteps," she said.
The 'Queen' star was present to launch Krux stationery products at a recent event in Mumbai.
