Kangna Ranaut has recently scrapped the rumours that claimed her upcoming flick 'Rani Laxmi Bai,' which is directed by Ketan Mehta, has been shelved.
The 28-year-old actress said that she came to know about the rumours while she was on her way to London. Out of concern, she immediately called Ketan because all of them have invested a lot in this magnum opus.
She added that this flick needs at least one year of pre-production, which has started in full swing. She panicked because of the rumours, but they have been a victim of such fabricated stories in the past as well.
Meanwhile, brushing off the stories, Ketan said that he wanted to laugh out when the rumours came out as the film is happening as per the schedule.
The film will be based on the Rani of Jhansi, one of the leaders of the First Indian War of Independence in 1857.
