Kanpur to host Gujarat Lions' remaining IPL home games

Intex Technologies owned Gujarat Lions IPL team, announced the city of Kanpur as their new home ground for the remainder of the IPL season. The lions will now move to their new den, assuring the same kind of passion and commitment for the remaining two home games in this edition of the IPL season.

Announcing this, Keshav Bansal, Director, Intex Technologies and Owner Gujarat Lions stated, "Fans in Rajkot have been our strength and we are overwhelmed with the love and support we have received from them. It is our honour and privilege to now bring IPL to the state of Uttar Pradesh and play our remaining home matches at Kanpur. We are very excited and enthused by our performance thus far and we are confident of receiving the same love and affection from fans in Kanpur."

Gujarat Lions will take on Kolkata Knight Riders on May 19th and will play against Mumbai Indians on May 21st.

Gujarat Lions has made an impressive debut in the IPL and is currently leading the eight-team IPL standings.

The team has played the game of cricket at the highest level and is showing no signs of slowing down. Fans of the team can look forward to some great cricket in the upcoming games and those in Kanpur can enjoy their favourite team in action at the Green Park stadium.
