Ellen Kardashian, former stepmother of the Kardashian clan, has filed a lawsuit against Kris Jenner, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, their brother Robert and Ryan Seacrest Productions, who produce the family's reality TV shows, for defamation.
Ellen has claimed that 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' is trying to depict her as a gold digger, who married their father Robert two months before he died of cancer in September 2003, for money, TMZ.com reported.
The plot revolves around a private investigator, who is trying to find out damaging information about the Kardashians.
According to the lawsuit, the investigator attempted to sell the information to Ellen, to tarnish her reputation and make her look like a blackmailer.
Ellen claimed that the Kardashian family "trashed" her on the show.
Ellen has also called Kris- a manipulative and conniving mother and former wife, who simply used and exploited her children.
Additionally, she branded Kardashian clan's careers "meaningless".
