Katy Perry has been sued by Christian rap star Flame after he claimed that the singer stole his song 'Joyful Noise' in 'Dark Horse'.

In Perry's Dark Horse video she references the Ancient Egyptians and has been quoted as saying that the track was inspired by witchcraft film 'The Craft', with the song written from a witch's point of view, the Mirror reported.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch newspaper reported that song 'Joyful Noise' had been irreparably tarnished by its association with the witchcraft, paganism, black magic, and Illuminati imagery evoked by the same music in 'Dark Horse'.

The 29-year-old singer had said that 'Dark Horse' was about warning a guy that if he is going to fall in love with her, then he need to be make sure that he was sure or else it was going be his last.

Flame and four other musicians want Perry to pay them unspecified damages, and a ban on her using their music immediately.
