Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has reached the Ramlila Maidan where he will be administered the oath of office and secrecy by Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung at around noon.
He was accompanied by Manish Sisodia, Kumar Vishwas, Ashish Khaitan and Delhi Chief Secretary D.M. Spolia.
Besides Kejriwal six other Aam Aadmi Party leaders - Manish Sisodia, Asim Ahmed Khan, Sandeep Kumar, Satyendar Jain, Gopal Rai and Jitender Singh Tomar will also be sworn-in as ministers.
The oath-taking ceremony will take place in front of an estimated crowd of over a lakh amid very tight security that includes the use of CCTV surveillance and other apparatus.
Kejriwal is expected to keep the key portfolios of Home, Power and Finance with himself, while giving Education, PWD and Urban Development to his confidante Manish Sisodia, who will also be the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi.
After the oath-taking ceremony, Kejriwal and his ministers are expected to go to Rajghat, the memorial of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi, to pay homage. Thereafter, he is expected to go to the Delhi Secretariat to preside over his first Cabinet meeting after assuming charge of the city government for the second time in one year.
