Aam Admi Party (AAP) chief, Arvind Kejriwal, held a road show here ahead of the assembly by-polls for the two seats, Patiala and Talwandi Sabo, in the state.
Voting for the by-elections on both assembly seats would be held on August 21.
While campaigning on Sunday, Kejriwal said the people in the state were tired of both the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) party and the Congress party.
"The people in Punjab are tired of the poor politics played by the Akalis and the Congress. Both the parties and party leaders are corrupt. And it is due to this corruption that the entire state of Punjab is under the grip of drugs consumption and corruption," said Kejriwal.
He added that earlier people in Punjab had no alternative like AAP, but to vote for the age old parties.
