Kelli Garner will be seen playing Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming Lifetime four-hour miniseries.
The 30-year-old 'Pan Am' alum would be starring opposite Susan Sarandon, who'll be playing Monroe's mother in the project, which was penned by Stephen Kronish and would be helmed by Laurie Collyer, Deadline.com reported.
The biopic, which is based on best-selling book The Secret Life Of Marilyn Monroe by J. Randy Taraborrelli, would focus on the Hollywood icon, who though dazzled on the red carpets in shimmering gowns, had to fight a battle against demons she had inherited from her mentally ill mother Gladys.
The film would be produced by Asylum Entertainment and executive produced by Jonathan Koch, Steven Michaels, Keri Selig and Kronish, and has been slated for a 2015 premiere.
