Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia will appear before a Dhaka court on Thursday in connection with the Zia Charitable Trust graft case.
The Daily Star quoted a member of the BNP chief's media wing, Sayrul Kabir Khan, confirming her appearance in the court tomorrow.
Khaleda was asked by Judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar of the Special Judge Court-3 in Dhaka earlier on December 15 to appear before the court in the case on December 22.
She did not appear in the court on December 15 to give her self-defence statements due to physical illness.
Earlier, the statements were given by a total of 32 prosecution witnesses including complainant of the case before the court on different dates.
