Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia will visit Rohingyas' refugee camps in Cox Bazar next week.
Zia is visiting the refugee camps to see the condition of the Rohingyas, who have fled to Bangladesh to escape persecution in Myanmar's Rakhine state.
The decision regarding the visit was taken during a meeting of the BNP standing committee members on Monday, the Daily Star reported.
According to the report, this was Khaleda's first meeting with standing committee members since she returned from the UK on October 18.
Rohingya Muslims have fled Myanmar in large numbers since Myanmar troops launched a crackdown in the Rakhine state in response to attacks on border posts.
Rohingyas are not recognised by Myanmar as its citizens and are called Bengali by them.
