Ousted Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif's wife Kulsoom Nawaz, who recently underwent operation for lymphoma, has been admitted to the hospital again after her condition took a turn for the worse.
"Ami is hospitalised again. Earnest request for prayers," Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Kulsoom's daughter, tweeted.
According to The Express Tribune, Kulsoom began her first round of chemotherapy earlier this month in London and has undergone three surgeries since August.
Kulsoom won the recently held by-election in NA-120 Lahore after the seat fell vacant following Sharif's's disqualification by Pakistan's Supreme Court in connection with the Panama Papers case.
