'Khoobsurat' Sonam Kapoor's Mehndi ceremony kickstarts in style

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, who is all set to marry Delhi-based businessman Anand Ahuja, looked like an ethereal beauty in a Chikankari lehenga at her Mehndi ceremony, which was attended by a string of cine stars including Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez,Swara Bhaskar and Masaba Mantena among others.

Also in attendance were Sonam's cousins Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and Mohit Marwah.

Designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, who went for an elegant and royal look for Sonam for the auspicious occasion, shared few photographs of the 32-year-old actress on Twitter.

"LOVE IS A MASTERPIECE! @sonamakapoor is ethereal in a Chikankari lehenga by Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla Couture at her Mehndi," read a post from the designer's offical Twitter handle.

In another post, Sonam can be seen donning heavy jewellery.

"GOD IS IN THE DETAIL. The Divine @sonamakapoor in Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla Couture," the post read.

Among the early arrivals at Sonam's Mehndi ceremony were her family members including father Anil Kapoor, siblings Rhea and Harshvardhan Kapoor. They were later joined by filmmaker Karan Johar, actresses Jacqueline Fernandez and Swara Bhaskar, and Sonam's cousins Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's marriage is scheduled for Tuesday.
