Kim Kardashian had chosen the 15 carat diamond engagement ring herself, as she was aware that Kanye West was going to propose, according to reports.
According to a source, the 33-year-old reality TV star wanted a ring from Lorraine Schwartz, as she loves the jeweler's diamonds.
The 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' star knew the proposal was happening but wasn't aware of when it would happen, Radar Online reported.
The source added that the 36-year-old singer had got a significant discount on the ring because of the publicity it would get, similar to the case in Kardashian's last marriage.
West had looked over 20 diamonds before, making sure that it was bigger than his new fiance's previous ring.
