In order to prevent postpartum depression, Kim Kardashian has decided to eat her own placenta following the birth of her new son, Saint West.
The 35-year-old reality star wrote on her website, "I'm having it freeze-dried and made into a pill form - not actually fry it like a steak and eat it (which some people do, BTW) ", E! Online reports.
She added in her post, "I had great results and felt so full of energy and didn't have any signs of depression. I definitely had to do it again. Every time I take a pill, I feel a surge of energy and feel really healthy and good. I totally recommend it for anyone considering it!"
'The Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star has reportedly been warned by doctors if she gets pregnant again, she will suffer from life-threatening placenta accrete.
It is being said that Kardashian isn't the first member of her family to eat her placenta.
Her oldest sister, Kourtney, did the same earlier this year after having her third child, Reign Aston.
