Kiran Bedi, a former Delhi top cop, on Thursday said the Saudi diplomat who was accused of raping two Nepalese women has been recalled by his country, but added that India should now see what action can be taken against the Saudi diplomat.

"If you look at it positively, you can see he has been recalled and that is one of the ways where a country expresses its actions, because he can't flee unless a parent country calls him back," she said.

"After recalling, we have to see whether the Saudi government will try him for an offence which is equally an offence under its laws," Bedi told ANI.
