The situation in Kishtwar district and other violence hit places in Jammu and Kashmir is returning to normal as curfew was relaxed for three hours in Kishtwar on Sunday, even as the ministerial team reviewed the security situation there.

According to reports Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Shantmanu said "...curfew was further relaxed from 10 AM and it was on till 1 PM. There were no reports of any untoward incident from anywhere in the district during last 24 hours."

"A ministerial team led by Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand visited the district to review its security situation and also held talks with the members of two communities to normalize the situation and end tension," he added.

Shantmanu also said that an all-party delegation is scheduled to visit the district in a few days to assess the situation and hold discussions with members of the two communities to ease the differences.
