In a recent interview, actor Andrew Garfield admitted kissing Ryan Reynolds at the 2017 Golden Globes was embarrassing and termed the incident as 'ridiculous'.

The 33 year-old, who recently appeared on 'The Graham Norton Show', explained how it all happened.

The actor laughed and stated, "I said to Ryan Reynolds, If you win, kiss me instead of your wife. And he said, Yah, that's great. But, it was ridiculous," E!Online reports.

After Ryan Gosling's name was called out, the duo was still up for doing the kiss and got ahead with it.

"We can still just do it' and he was game. I loved that we were so deep in the background so you kind of have to look and see if it was actually real," he added.

When asked if we could expect something same at the Oscars, "No! It depends on who they sit me next to. If they're smart they'll sit me next to someone that I'm attracted to. In that room, I don't think there are many misses" he joked.

Andrew Garfield has been nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) Oscar category for 'Hacksaw Ridge' in which he plays role of Desmond T. Doss.
