Kolo Toure has said that he knew Liverpool was the club for him when he first had a conversation with manager Brendan Rodgers, according to reports.
According to Metro.co.uk, the 32-year-old signed for the Reds in May after leaving Manchester City and admits Rodgers was the key factor in him moving to Merseyside.
Toure said that he spoke to Rodgers and knew that he was just the right man to work with, adding that Rodgers told him that he needed a player like him and one cannot say to Liverpool when they come in.
Asked whether Rodgers was the best manager he had played for, Toure replied that of course he was among the best and one could see that in the way Liverpool play, the report added.
