Telangana Information Technology Minister K. T. Rama Rao visited Qutb Shahi tombs at Golconda on Tuesday.
Rao also attended an event organised by Agakhan Trust to mark completion of a tomb conservation work.
The Minister also appreciated the trust for its initiative to bring the original glory of seven tombs back.
He also put forward his idea of getting world heritage status to the monument with the help of government of India.
Close to the Golconda fort, the Qutb Shahi Tombs contain tombs and mosques built by the various kings of the Qutb Shahi dynasty.
