Lady Gaga has revealed that she had "awful experiences" in the beginning of her career as men took advantage of her sexually.
The 'Poker Face' hitmaker asserted that she didn't feel like she was being cherished for her vocal talents but was seen more as someone to take advantage of, the Daily Star reported.
The 28-year-old singer continued that men made her uncomfortable.
Gaga added that she hope to be an inspiration that if one was talented enough, one could work hard and achieve their dreams.
Gaga also advised fellow female artists to be vigilant of "sharks" who may try and exploit them and also implored women not to tolerate such inappropriate behavior.
