Lady Gaga has revealed that she would "rather be fat than shallow" after she was slammed for her snapshots.

The 28-year-old singer posted her two snapshots in a tan monokini under the caption "#bodyrevolution Proud at any size, because the inside is what really counts," New York Post reported.

However, when online users started posting negative comments about her, one of her fan dared the criticizers "to post a picture of their belly and legs" and another concerned fan called it "insulting and degrading".
