The last rites of veteran actress Sridevi, whose mortal remains will be brought to Mumbai tonight, will be conducted on Wednesday.

Condolences and the last respects to the 54-year-old will be paid at Celebrations Sports club in Mumbai between 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The cremation ceremony will take place at Vile Parle's Seva Samaj Crematorium and Hindu Cemetery from 3:30 pm onwards.

Meanwhile, the Kapoor family, in a statement, expressed bereavement and shock " with the untimely loss of Sridevi Kapoor."

"We thank the film fraternity, media, fans of late Sridevi Kapoor and all the well-wishers for their prayers, support and sensitivity during our moment of immense grief. We request you to kindly join us in paying our last respect to a remarkable actor, beloved wife and loving mother," the statement added.

Sridevi passed away on late Saturday night in Dubai, where she was attending a family wedding.

According to the forensic report, the 54-year-old Indian actress died of accidental drowning in her hotel room's bathtub, after suffering a dizzying spell.

This was contrary to the earlier reports which cited cardiac-arrest as the reason of the death of the actress.
