LeEco breaks boundaries; disrupts US market with new model launches

San Francisco [United States], Oct.20 (ANI): Chinese company LeEco launched a slew of upcoming products and services today here in San Francisco.

The internet conglomerate launched an 85-inch TV (2.2m), a VR headset, a self-driving car along with its flagship phones LePro 3 and the Le S3.

At the "Ignite the Eco World" event, LeEco unveiled its open, integrated Internet ecosystem consisting of platform, content, apps and the stunning array of connected smart devices that bring it to life.

In an interview to the Indian media, YT Jia, Founder, Chairman and CEO of LeEco, said the company aims to create a business model that will lead the next era of technology - the ecosystem era.

"We are disrupting several categories and changing the paradigm by breaking down barriers and boundaries between industries and screens to create a better experience and more value for both individuals and industries," he said while comparing itself to the US market competitors.

With a himungus launch at the San Francisco Innovation Hanger, Rob Chandhok, chief R&D officer unveiled LePro S3 Android phone at a price of Rs. (A rewards program will bring the price of Rs. USD 300.

The phone features Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with a 5.5-inch screen, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 16MP camera.

Also was introduced Le S3 featuring Snapdragon 652 and 32GB of storage.

Not only phones, the company also launched its four new TVs, Super4 X43 Pro, Super4 X55, Super4 X65, and the premium uMax85 TV for the U.S market.

Unlike the Super3 TV that was launched earlier, the others will give users much better UI which is slightly tweaked to offer the best experience for the U.S customers. LeEco has recently purchased the top U.S based TV maker, Vizio for $2 billion. With this deal, all the upcoming Vizio's TV will be running on the same LeEco eUI which runs on the TVs that are launched today.

Customers who buy the phones will get a three month free subscription while the TV comes with a year's subscription to EcoPass.

The devices will be available via a flash sale system on LeMall.com, beginning on 2nd November, however they are anticipated for a launch in the Indian markets around December.
